One of the most important aspects of our work as therapists is ongoing clinical supervision to ensure we are providing safe, ethical and quality care to our clients. Through clinical supervision, you will learn to practice Safe and Effective Use of Self (SEUS), get support navigating specific client cases, learn more about various presenting issues and interventions, enhance counselling skills and core competencies, explore different approaches/modalities for case conceptualizations and treatment planning, build confidence in yourself as a therapist, and so much more!

5 years experience practicing Psychotherapy, mainly in Private Practice; previous experience working for EAP companies, MVA and WSIB insurance, and conducting psychometric/psychological assessments under Psychologist supervision

Meets criteria for CRPO clinical supervisor; completed 30-hour supervision course through the University of Ottawa

More Information:

$170/1hr individual supervision and $90/1hr dyadic supervision (incl. HST); additional fees for paperwork $45/30min (incl. HST)

Payments can be made via e-transfer

Supervision sessions are held virtually; hours are Mon-Fri 10am-4pm

CRPO recommends 1hr per week for registrants in Qualifying status or 1hr for every 4.5 DCC

For those not in Qualifying status but still working toward Independent Status, CRPO recommends 1hr every 2 weeks or 1hr for every 10 DCC *these are recommendations, not requirements; supervision will be held at a frequency appropriately determined and with CPRO guidelines in mind
