Hi, I’m Megan (she/her). I am a Registered Psychotherapist and have completed a BA in Psychology from Queen’s University and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. I have extensive experience working with and supporting young adults, caregivers/parents, youth (6+) and families.
I have a cordial and calming disposition that fuels a nonjudgmental curiosity of human personality and behaviour. I fully believe that everyone has the best intentions and is truly good inside. The outward expression of "undesirable" behaviours stems from internal distress or disconnect from our authentic selves.

I offer safe, responsive, and compassionate support so you can feel like you are being heard and are gaining the information you require to move forward. Exploring all angles of the issue, including your internal and external world, is my passion. I guide you in identifying your current responses/coping strategies, why they may not be working and how we can shift them to be more effective to create lasting change.

I am empathetic and supportive and employ an eclectic and holistic psychotherapeutic approach, mainly drawing from Emotion-Focused Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I also utilize Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and mindfulness approaches in my work with clients, based on their unique needs.
