Hi there! My name is Tamara (she/her). I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a passion for helping people feel validated and truly seen by delivering compassionate care through active listening, empathy, and even a touch of humour when appropriate!

Everyone’s life experience is unique, and believe that every individual is the expert of their own life. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where my clients feel comfortable unburdening themselves. My goal is that each session leaves you feeling a little lighter and more grounded through a genuine therapeutic connection.

I approach therapy from a relational and person-centered perspective, with emphasis on trauma-informed and culturally sensitive care. I utilize a holistic approach, drawing flexibly from modalities such as Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Somatic Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support your unique needs. I have also completed Level 1 Gottman training to better support my work with couples.

I hold a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and have over a decade of experience supporting individuals on the autism spectrum and their families. Outside of work, you’ll find me laughing at memes, playing with my dog Cooper on the beach, or practicing breathwork, yoga, and Reiki.
